A prophet in Zimbabwe has been banned from betting for allegedly winning too much and giving bookies sleepless nights.

The fate befell, Prophet Archbishop Emmanuel Mutumwa, the leader of Zimbabwe’s Johanne Masowe eChishanu Apostolic Sect, after claiming divine intervention granted him an unbroken winning streak.

Mutumwa recently garnered attention by winning $30,000 approximately 3,900,000 Ksh at a local casino, the largest recorded win at the establishment, nearly doubling the previous record.

“This is the biggest win ever recorded at the casino,” Mutumwa declared. “My celebrations were cut short, however, because I have been banned by other casinos for winning too much. They claim that since I am a prophet, I am receiving visions from God about the winning numbers. They fear they will go bankrupt because I will win too often.”

Despite the ban, Mutumwa staunchly defended his winnings, emphasizing their altruistic use. He revealed that he had utilized his casino earnings to pay school fees for church members and provide start-up funds for their businesses.
